Katsuhime is a very strong ally in Assassin's Creed Shadow. To unlock this ally, the last step is completion of the quest The Diary of Lady Rokkaku. This quest requires you to rescue Katsuhime.
Katsuhime gets shot by Isono Kazumasa. The quest asks you to quickly reach Katsuhime and kill Isono Kazumasa. If you do not reach and take her to safety, she will die and you will not be able to recruit Katsuhime.
Isono Kazumasa is not very far from where you are standing. But, if you are not paying attention to the fact that you have to reach quickly, you can potentially end up taking time and in the process lead to death of Katsuhime. If this happen, do not panic.
If Katsuhime dies, just exit the game. Use Goto Memories option from menu and load the game from few minutes before the death. The memories time is not infinite. Do not wait too long after death of Katsuhime. Otherwise Autosave will end up erasing a lot of memories and you will not be able to recover.
